Part 1 - How to warm up and how to run technically correct
This section will take you through the warm up informing you:
How to run technically correct in order that you can make someone faster immediately by harnessing the strength and power that they already have.
Part 2 - Speed endurance training and introduction to weight training
This section gives you the basics to weight training and different ways to improve speed endurance without losing speed.
You can improve your speed with the correct weight training programme and you can lose your speed with the wrong weight training programme.
WELLFAST will give you training programmes to make you faster.
Speed endurance is the ability to run faster for longer. WELLFAST has developed many running sessions to improve this area of fitness.
Part 3 - Speed and Power
Speed and power can be increased in many ways and WELLFAST will take you through them all in the correct order. It is important that strength is turned into power and therefore into speed. What constitutes real speed training?
Power is as important as speed to any performer. WELLFAST will take you through the different ways to train power and show you ways to keep increasing it. Upper body power has to be developed along with leg power in order to maintain stability and balance and WELLFAST training methods will teach you how to train the upper body in a powerful way.
Part 4 - Speed endurance and coaching for all age groups
It is important to train speed and put the energy sources under pressure at the same time. In this way the performer will be able to produce repetition short bursts or be able to sprint further than 20m without slowing down.
You will also find out how to set out a programme for age 5 to 50. It is easier to make 5 year olds run faster but not impossible to make 55 year olds faster. Using WELLFAST methods we will give you examples of sessions for all ages and all abilities.
