Sam Edgerley scored a try in every game for Esher at the Middlesex Sevens tournament to win player of the tournament. Sam scored a total of 5 tires in the tournament and Esher just missed out on the cup by losing to a very experienced Samurai team in the final 12-55.
After this great performance by Sam he was called up to the England Sevens team for the fourth and final stage of the FIRA European Grand Prix Sevens series in Bucharest. Wellfasts Sam and Christian Lewis Pratt (previously with Leeds) both played for England and finished second with 62 points only 1 point behind the table winners Portugal.
