Thom Evans finishes 4th in Scottish Indoor National Final with new P.B of 7.20 for 60m

Thom Evans finished a respectable 4th place in the 60m Final at the Scottish Senior Indoor Championships at Kelvin Hall on the 19th of Feb.

Thom ran a time of 7.23 in his heat to qualify as the slowest qualifier in the final. Thom then had a great start in the final but had to go again as two of the finalists were disqualified for a false start. Thom finally got away but didnt perfect the start but still managed to get a personal best of 7.20 for 60m.

This was Thoms biggest indoor competition so far and his first up in Scotland.

Simon Wells was also competing but failed to qualify for the final by but finished 3rd in his heat with a time of 7.38 for 60m and 9th fastest on the day.
