Danny Cipriani Training Update plus Dom Waldouck Injury update

Danny Cipriani had a great running session on Friday evening. The session was a speed endurance session to help his ability to run faster for longer and he handled it very well. The pace was consistent and even and although it was a hard session he coped extremely well. Having done a power session on Saturday.

Monday’s session was a strength endurance session specifically aimed at making him stronger for running strength. He warmed up on the speedball and then did sets of Wellfast squats with a great back exercise in between. This was followed by a circuit of Speedball, Wellfast sit ups and Wellfast clean and press. These exercises enable the body to work at speed but also to help the body become stronger for longer.

Dominic Waldouck continues to make great progress in his comeback from his Achilles injury. He was also doing Wellfast weights and speedball today but there was more emphasis on helping strengthen his calves as well as improving his running strength. Dom also did a great running session on the grass on Saturday and his speed is improving with every session.
